Funding and eligibility

Built by someone who took this route

The Bello Fitness team at Fit For Life Youth Gym

Seve Bello was offered a funded fitness course through a job centre nearly a decade ago. It changed his life. He founded Bello Fitness to hand the same chance to other Londoners, using funding from job centres, councils, colleges and charities.

The courses run at Fit For Life Youth Gym on Freston Road, taught and assessed by a team of working fitness professionals.

Questions

How do I get started?

Fill in the application form - it takes about five minutes. You can also email seve@bellofitness.co.uk or ask your job centre work coach to refer you.

Is the course really free?

Yes, for eligible learners. Places are paid for through funding partners such as job centres and charities, so a funded place costs you nothing. If you are not eligible for funding, you can now ask about a self-funded place instead.

Do I get a recognised qualification?

Yes. Both courses are accredited diplomas, and we are a YMCA Awards approved centre. You receive your diploma when you pass the exams and assessments.

Are the gym interviews really guaranteed?

Yes. We arrange interviews with leading London gyms for our qualified learners, and we stay in touch afterwards to help you get hired.
